So there's going to be an Akira Live Action Movie coming out in 2009 i do not know the release date other then its going to come on in 2009 but if I do find out I will put it in this article. The Akira live action movie will be spilt into two movies so it will be a dual box set when it comes out.Heres a teaser below I know it doesn't look "as" good but come on give it a chance.

this looks pretty interesting, if they actually put a lot of work into making it good it might surpass the original (ok so that's probably not going to be the case, but we'll see)
